Job summary

Village Pointe Toyota in Omaha, NE is seeking skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing Service Department. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform maintenance, and document inspections in a clean, temperature-controlled shop.

Experience with Toyota is preferred but not required; we welcome technicians from other brands and independent shops. We offer training, modern equipment, and opportunities to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive repair experience required.
• Toyota or other manufacturer dealership experience preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Electrical diagnostic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and other vehicle systems.
• Perform recalls and warranty repairs in accordance with Toyota procedures.
• Complete Multi-Point Inspections on assigned vehicles.
• Identify needed maintenance and safety-related repairs.
• Clearly document inspection findings, diagnoses, and completed repairs.
• Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor.
• Utilize Toyota diagnostic equipment, technical information, and repair procedures.
• Verify repairs and perform quality-control checks.
• Maintain an organized and professional work area.
• Properly care for customer vehicles while they are in the dealership.
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.
• Complete required Toyota and dealership training.
• Work effectively with Service Advisors, Parts personnel, and other technicians.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards established by the dealership.

Automotive Service Technician

Village Pointe Toyota – Omaha, Nebraska

Village Pointe Toyota is looking for skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing Service Department.

Toyota experience is preferred but is not required. Technicians with experience from other manufacturers or independent repair facilities are encouraged to apply.

Position Responsibilities

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will:

• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles accurately and efficiently
