Village Pointe Toyota in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing Service Department. Toyota experience is preferred but not required; technicians from other manufacturers or independent shops are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive repair experience.
• Toyota or other manufacturer dealership experience preferred.
• Ase certifications preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Electrical diagnostic experience is a plus.
• Ability to accurately diagnose and repair modern vehicle systems.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment and service information.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Dependable and professional.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must have or be willing to obtain appropriate tools for the position.
• Ability to meet applicable pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles accurately and efficiently
• Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and other vehicle systems
• Perform recalls and warranty repairs in accordance with Toyota procedures
• Complete Multi-Point Inspections on assigned vehicles
• Identify needed maintenance and safety-related repairs
• Clearly document inspection findings, diagnoses, and completed repairs
• Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor
• Utilize Toyota diagnostic equipment, technical information, and repair procedures
• Verify repairs and perform quality-control checks
• Maintain an organized and professional work area
• Properly care for customer vehicles while they are in the dealership
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
• Complete required Toyota and dealership training
• Work effectively with Service Advisors, Parts personnel, and other technicians
• Maintain productivity and quality standards established by the dealership
