Mike Carpino Ford Columbus is seeking a motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our growing service team. We are looking for a dependable professional with strong diagnostic and repair abilities who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Technician experience preferred but not required.
• Vocational or technical training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership systems.
• Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance as specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repair needs and estimated completion times.
• Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation:Pay is based on experience and certifications.
