Job summary

EasyCare Recruiting is seeking an automotive technician in Newell, SD to diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles. You will work with experienced professionals, maintain positive client relationships, and adhere to dealership policies on vehicle care and safety.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience or training, plus a valid driver's license. Manufacturer certification is preferred but not required; compensation is based on experience

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles.
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor.
• Communicate additional service requests to service advisor.
• Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman.
• Monitor repair time and update service advisor regularly.
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs.
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees.
• Attend company and factory training.
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste).
