Job summary

Hondru Chevrolet is seeking Automotive Service Technicians to join our team in Mount Joy, PA. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma and have experience in automotive maintenance and diagnostics. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, communicating directly with service advisors, and providing time estimates for repairs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
• GM certifications preferred - Intermediate & Senior Master Technicians.
• State Inspection License and Emissions License required.
• Valid PA Driver’s License is needed.

Responsibilities

Looking for A, B & C Level Automotive Service Technicians

We are currently looking for Automotive ServiceTechnicians to join our Hondru Chevrolet team. Top pay for top technicians with certifications and experience.

This full-time position is Monday throughFriday from 7:30 AM to 5:00PM.

As an Automotive Service Technician, your responsibilities would include:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.

• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.

• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

• Able to lift 50lbs

• Other duties as needed.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in automotive maintenance, repair, and diagnostics

• GM certifications preferred - Intermediate & Senior Master Technicians

• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination

• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
