Job summary

Szott Automotive Group in Michigan is looking for experienced Automotive Technicians who want more than just another job. You will work in busy shops with modern equipment, competitive flat-rate pay, and opportunities to earn bonuses based on hours turned and First Visit metrics.

Qualifications

• Must have Michigan Mechanic Certification/License and/or ASE Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a certified automotive technician.
• Experience working in a flat-rate compensation environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to properly diagnose, repair, and document vehicle concerns.

Responsibilities

• Work in busy shops with consistent retail, warranty, and used-car work.
• Diagnose, repair, and document vehicle concerns to high standards.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts personnel, and other technicians to maximize productivity.
• Utilize Stellantis training and certifications to maintain and improve skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants MUST meet the following requirements:

• Michigan Mechanic Certification/License and/or ASE Certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a certified automotive technician
• Must have experience working in and be familiar with a flat-rate compensation environment
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to properly diagnose, repair, and document vehicle concerns
• Ability to work effectively with Service Advisors, Parts personnel, and fellow technicians
• Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction

Manufacturer certifications and Stellantis experience are strongly preferred and may qualify you for increased earning potential.
