Capital Ford of Lillington is seeking an automotive service technician to join our team. The role focuses on performing repairs and maintenance to dealership standards, diagnosing issues with advanced tools, and testing components to verify repairs.

The candidate should have automotive repair knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with service advisors and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive technician preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and detail orientation.
• Willing to learn and work in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems to identify concerns and verify repairs.
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs or services needed.
• Provide accurate estimates of the time required for additional repairs.
• Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
