Job summary

Diehl Chevrolet of Grove City is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our busy service department in Grove City, PA. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns, perform maintenance and repairs, and document findings for Service Advisors.

The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic and repair skills, knowledge of modern vehicle systems, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills; knowledge of modern electrical/mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ASE/GM training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Perform maintenance and repair services.
• Complete engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC repairs.
• Diagnose check-engine lights and other warnings.
• Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Use diagnostic equipment and repair information.
• Communicate findings to Service Advisors.
• Complete customer-pay and warranty repairs per standards.
• Follow Chevrolet and GM repair procedures where applicable.

Full-Time | Chevrolet / GM Service | Grove City, PA

Diehl Chevrolet of Grove City is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service department in Grove City, Pennsylvania.

Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform automotive maintenance and repair services
• Complete engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC repairs
• Diagnose check-engine lights and other warning indicators
• Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment and manufacturer repair information
• Identify necessary and recommended repairs
• Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors
• Complete customer-pay and warranty repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards
• Follow Chevrolet and GM repair procedures when applicable
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
• Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Participate in manufacturer and dealership training as required

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience
• Strong automotive diagnostic and repair skills
• Knowledge of modern vehicle electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to use diagnostic scanners and automotive repair equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a service team
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• ASE certifications and Chevrolet/GM training or certifications are preferred but not required.
• Experience as a GM Technician, Chevrolet Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Service Technician, Dealership Technician, Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or General Service Technician is highly desirable.
