Job summary

Fox Mazda in Grand Rapids is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to help keep customer and internal vehicles safe, reliable, and performing as designed. This role supports customer satisfaction by delivering accurate diagnostics and quality repairs that meet dealership and factory standards.

You will review repair orders, diagnose malfunctions, source parts with the Parts Department, and coordinate with the Service Manager and Advisor to communicate status and timing throughout the day.

Qualifications

• 1+ year related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications and other certificates/licenses preferred, not required.

You'll start by reviewing the day's repair orders, then move between the shop and your work area as vehicles come in. Some jobs are quick and straightforward; others take focused troubleshooting time. You'll check in with advisors as priorities shift, wait on parts when needed, and keep your workspace organized so you can stay productive. By the end of the day, you'll wrap up open items, confirm what's ready for pickup, and set up a clean handoff for the next shift.
