Starling Chevrolet Buick GMC in Florida is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our busy dealership. You will perform repairs and diagnostics, test-drive vehicles, and service automotive systems according to dealership standards, using specialized tools to ensure quality and safety.

Collaborative team players thrive here; we emphasize accurate estimates, warranty work per manufacturer specs, and clear communication with the Service Advisor.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on repair orders with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components with diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and AC systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.
• Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
