Crest Cadillac is seeking a skilled, experienced, and dedicated Service Technician to join our growing team!
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cars and light trucks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, an effective problem-solver, and committed to delivering high-quality service to our valued customers.

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in mechanical engineering is a plus but not required.
- ASE certification; GM or Cadillac-specific certification is a plus.
- Experience in operating diagnostic tools, scopes, meters, and other test equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and vehicle parts.
- Ability to work under vehicles, bend, reach, push, pull, twist, and kneel for extended periods.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission services, A/C services, front-end alignments, battery installations, and check-ups.
- Inspect vehicles to determine if any safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the automotive service industry, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
- Maintain records of each vehicle you work on, including maintenance performed, problems identified, and solutions.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to recommend additional services if needed.
- Attend sponsored training classes and stay updated on new technology, service techniques, and industry advancements.
