Job summary

Pugmire Ford of Carrollton is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles in a fast-paced dealership setting. You will perform multi-point inspections, document findings, and ensure work meets Ford standards.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with ADAS and diesel, and the ability to read schematics. Prior dealership experience and excellent teamwork are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ford experience preferred.
• Must have own tools.
• Strong diagnostic skills with powertrain and general repair.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with ADAS, diesel, and alignments is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and operate diagnostic equipment.
• Prior dealership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics, services, and repairs in accordance with Ford and industry standards.
• Complete accurate multi-point inspections and properly document findings.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and return vehicles in clean condition.
• Properly use and maintain personal tools and shop equipment.
• Communicate repair needs clearly with Service Advisors, Parts, and Management.
• Follow all safety protocols, including team lifting procedures.
• Complete all required Ford training and stay current on technical updates and bulletins.
• Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Support additional service operations as needed.
