Job summary

Fox Motors is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles, ensuring trust and safety for customers. You will work with a team to deliver timely updates and accurate workmanship, using diagnostic tools and a commitment to quality.

A hands-on role in a growing dealership with opportunities tied to Fox University training. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, a valid driver's license, and strong problem-solving skills, with ASE certifications

Qualifications

• 1 year of automotive repair/maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• State certification or ASE certifications preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Personal set of basic automotive tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance work accurately and in line with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools and perform repairs.
• Communicate with Parts Department to obtain required components.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Management to complete work promptly and provide accurate customer updates.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify safety concerns or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace per OSHA guidelines.

We are looking for a customer-focused team player with hands‑on automotive repair experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a drive to perform in a growing environment.

Incentive Highlights

• SIGN-ON BONUS: Up to $5,000.00 (Based on certifications)

• RELOCATION BONUS: Up to $2,500.00 (For candidates relocating from outside of 60 miles of the dealership)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance work accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools and perform necessary repairs.

• Communicate effectively with the Parts Department to obtain required components.

• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Service Management to complete work in a timely manner and ensure accurate customer updates.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify safety concerns or preventative maintenance needs.

• Certifications: State certification or Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred, but not required.

• Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Tools: Personal set of basic automotive tools appropriate for daily service work.
