Job summary

Pep Boys Inc in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services such as tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, and inspections while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, are 18+, and can work days, nights, holidays and weekends. Pre-employment background check is required. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO/holiday pay, and DailyPay.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical.
• Perform oil changes and tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, headlights and small bulbs.
• Repair flat tires and stock/unload tires.
• Assist other technicians and keep the shop organized and clean.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety rules.
