Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family and is seeking full‑time General Service Technicians in the Boardman, OH area. We offer paid training, weekly pay with incentives, and opportunities to grow within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

Responsibilities include tire mounting/dismounting, oil changes, fluid checks, and ensuring safety and quality across all customer vehicles. Prior auto experience helps but is not required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
