Job summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington is hiring an Automotive Service Technician (B Level) to diagnose and repair vehicles, perform multi-point inspections, and document work accurately. You will communicate with advisors and ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high CSI and quality standards.

We value hands-on, technically-focused technicians with the ability to learn and grow through manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Must have basic tools.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Minimum age of eighteen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify work done and check for completion when appropriate.
• Perform diagnosis and repair across vehicle systems and preventive maintenance.
• Utilize manufacturer training as assigned.
• Complete warranty repair order documentation and warranty claims.
