Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Inc. is hiring a Service Porter at Nissan Chattanooga East in Chattanooga, TN. The Porter will maintain dealership appearance, assist with vehicle movement, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, recording details, moving vehicles, and supporting service staff. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record and be able to pass pre-employment checks. Pay is $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers entering the service area with a professional attitude.
• Records customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage.
• Move and park vehicles to maintain flow of traffic.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Keep the dealership lot and sidewalks clean and presentable.
• Provide excellent service when interacting with customers and staff.
