Automotive Service Porter - Fowler Jeep

Fowler Automotive has an outstanding opportunity for a detailed, task-oriented, motivated, customer service-minded Porter for our growing dealership.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive customer vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Drive vehicles through the car wash.
• Clean driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
• Perform general cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
• Park vehicles in the lot in an orderly manner.
• Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
• Wash and prepare new and used vehicles for lot display.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus but not required.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier.

Physical Demands

The physical demands include walking, handling, reaching, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, sitting, tasting, smelling, and lifting/moving weights up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, manuals, and communicate effectively with customers and staff.

Compensation

$20.00 per clock hour.
