Huntersville Ford, part of the Krause Auto Group, is hiring a dependable Full-Time Service Porter / Shuttle Driver. You will help keep the dealership moving, transport customers safely, and support the service team with vehicle movement.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport service customers to/from homes or designated locations.
• Provide friendly, professional service to every customer.

• Communicate effectively with customers, Service Advisors, technicians, and management.
• Ensure customers are transported safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Assist customers during their service visit.
• Drive customer vehicles to/from service lane, stalls, and parking areas.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from dealership and off-site locations.
• Assist with vehicle movement and organization in the service department.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe service and parking areas.
• Position vehicles properly for service and pickup.

Located in the southern end of the Lake Norman area, Huntersville Ford is locally owned and operated and has proudly served the community since 2002. Our dealership was founded by Dan Parks and Vernon Krause, who have been business partners since 1991. Mr. Stacy Cowan joined our team as General Manager in 2019 and became a partner in 2020.

What You'll Do

As a Service Porter / Shuttle Driver, you'll be an important part of the customer experience and service department. You'll help keep the dealership moving while making sure our customers receive friendly, professional, and dependable service.

Customer Service & Shuttle Support

• Safely transport service customers to and from their homes, places of business, or other designated locations
• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to every customer
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with customers
• Communicate effectively with customers, Service Advisors, technicians, and management
• Ensure customers are transported safely, efficiently, and on time
• Assist customers as needed throughout their service visit

Vehicle & Service Department Support

• Drive customer vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, parking areas, and other designated locations
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from dealership and off-site property locations
• Assist the service department with vehicle movement and organization
• Help maintain clean, organized, and safe service and parking areas
• Ensure vehicles are properly positioned for service and customer pickup
• Assist with other service department tasks as needed
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
