Job summary

Germain Toyota of Columbus is seeking an Automotive Service Porter to maintain the appearance and organization of the service lot while ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

As a Service Porter, you will move vehicles, assist with cleaning and prep, and support service advisors and technicians to facilitate smooth operations while prioritizing safety and proper parking

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles between service bays, customer parking, and the lot to optimize workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lot and surrounding areas.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, including washing, vacuuming, and inspecting vehicles.
• Support service advisors and technicians as needed to facilitate smooth operations.
• Ensure all vehicles are properly secured and parked in designated areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies during vehicle handling.

• Move vehicles between service bays, customer parking, and the lot to optimize workflow

Requirements:

• Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently on the lot and public roads
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience in automotive services or porter roles preferred but not required
