Job summary

Germain Toyota of Columbus is seeking an Automotive Service Porter to help maintain the appearance and organization of the service lot while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, including moving vehicles, cleaning, prepping cars, and supporting technicians.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely on lot and public roads.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Previous experience in automotive services or porter roles preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles between service bays, customer parking, and the lot to optimize workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lot and surrounding areas.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, including washing, vacuuming, and inspecting vehicles.
• Support service advisors and technicians as needed to facilitate smooth operations.
• Ensure all vehicles are properly secured and parked in designated areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies during vehicle handling.
