Parkway Ford of Lexington in Lexington, NC is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department and drive performance. You will mentor service advisors and technicians, ensure accurate repairs, and maintain customer satisfaction with effective communication and accountability.

The ideal candidate has a hands-on automotive background, Ford dealership exposure, and strong leadership skills to align with dealership goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive technical background required.
• Previous service leadership experience preferred.
• Ford dealership experience and familiarity with Ford service processes preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the service department.
• Lead, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians.
• Establish and enforce performance expectations and accountability.
• Monitor productivity, labor sales, warranties, and profitability.
• Review repair orders for accuracy and compliance with Ford requirements.
• Ensure timely diagnostics, estimates, and customer communications.
• Collaborate with Parts to improve workflow and repair times.
• Schedule, manage workload, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure proper documentation of warranty repairs and claims.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional shop environment.
