Job summary

Palmetto Garage Works (Midas & SpeeDee) in Tennessee is seeking an automotive service advisor to lead all service department activities in a tire and mechanical services store.

You will supervise technicians, deliver exceptional customer service, build repair orders, discuss pricing, and promote service specials while aligning with PGW's vision and values.

This is a store-manager development role; PGW offers training and promotion from within, with a path to grow across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service and repair operations.
• Ability to lead and train a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers.
• Follow up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts.
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials.
• Lead, manage, and train team while aligning with PGW's vision and values.
• Supervise up to ten employees.
• Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks.
• Maintain inventory counts.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.
