Job summary

Pride Motor Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our busy service department. We offer a competitive salary, outstanding benefits, and a safe, friendly work environment.

In this role you will hire, train, and retain the service team, listen and respond to customers, and drive department profitability. You will manage warranty claims, maintain CSI, and oversee customer follow-up to encourage repeat and referral business.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of management experience in an automotive dealership.
• Strong work ethic with ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven success in automotive retail management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Valid and clean driver's license.
• Ability to work extended hours and Saturdays when necessary.
• Focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, manage and retain the service team including advisors and technicians.
• Communicate effectively and resolve conflicts with customers, employees and coworkers.
• Meet department financial objectives by estimating requirements, budgeting, and analyzing variances.
• Manage and maintain factory standards for warranty claims.
• Maintain high CSI by addressing customer complaints promptly and appropriately.
• Maintain a customer follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Set department goals, measure progress, analyze results and drive improvements.
• Provide required training to comply with manufacturers.
• Manage shop productivity, labor hours, cost of sale and operating expenses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hire, train, manage and retain service team not limited to advisors and technicians

• Establishes department goals and objectives, measures progress, analyzes results and makes improvements as needed
• Manages required training to comply with manufacturers
