Job summary

Krages Auto Center, a GreatWater Garage, is seeking an Automotive Service Manager / Shop Manager to lead daily shop operations and drive performance in a professional repair facility.

You will coach the shop team, manage workflow, and uphold our standards while promoting transparent communication for repairs and services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive shop management experience.
• 1+ year sales experience or strong service sales ability.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Experience managing technicians and service advisors.
• Ability to manage workflow, productivity, and shop performance.
• Comfortable reviewing financial reports and shop KPIs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

• Maintain company standards, systems, and values.
• Sell repair and maintenance services using transparent communication.

Lead a High-Performing Automotive Shop

We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Service Manager / Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of a professional automotive repair facility. If you're a leader who enjoys building teams, driving performance, and delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to meet you.

We combine the personal culture of a neighborhood shop with the tools, systems, and support of a growing automotive network. Our Operating Partners lead their teams, maintain our standards, and ensure customers receive honest, high-quality service.

What You'll Do:

As the Operating Partner, you will lead the overall success of the shop. Great leaders in this role believe no task is too small when it comes to supporting the team and serving customers.
