Job summary

Lexus of Woodland Hills in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Automotive Service Lot Valet to move vehicles, keep the service lot and vehicles clean, and deliver cars to customers after service is completed. This is a full-time position with Saturday availability and multiple shift options.

The ideal candidate has a high energy level, strong customer service skills, and the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Training is provided; prior experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training available.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be available to work full-time hours and every Saturday.
• Unrestricted CA driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed.

Job description

TheAutomotive Service Lot Valethelps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the service area/lot, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the service area, delivering vehicles to customers after service is complete, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed.

This is strickly a FULL TIME POSITION:

Must be available to work Saturday and below are the following schedule options which will include all applicable lunchs. (subject to change if necessary)

Shift options:

7:00 AM–4:00 PM

8:00 AM–5:00 PM

10:00 AM–7:00 PM

The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast paced environment, and a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record. He or she must have great communication and customer service skills, strong organizational and problem solving skills, and a positive attitude. Candidates must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions and safely maneuver vehicles in tight and small spaces. Previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed.
• Installs protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
• Services vehicles with gas, oil, and water.
• Washes and cleans vehicles as needed.
• Helps maintain lot appearance by cleaning driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
• Helps maintain shop cleanliness, including windows, doors, floors, etc.
• Dealer Trades.
• Transports customers to and from their home when needed and requested.
• Attends all staff meeting, trainings, and educational classes as required.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Follows all safety and security procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers as they arrive at our dealership.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary. We are willing to train.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL TIME HOURS AND AVAILABLE EVERY SATURDAY.
• Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role a plus.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
• Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
