Sheehy Auto Stores in Gaithersburg is seeking a Service Lot Porter to greet customers, keep vehicles clean, and maintain an organized lot at our local service center.

Qualifications

• Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Outstanding communication skills are required.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ensure vehicles in service are ready and presented nicely.
• Lock vehicles, manage keys, and keep the lot secure and organized.
• Follow company policies and report any issues to management.
• Engage with customers and internal teams to promote satisfaction and repeat business.
• Communicate any concerns to supervisors promptly.

As the Service Lot Porter, you will utilize your skills in greeting customers, ensuring the vehicles are kept in excellent condition at all times, and the lot is well-maintained, so our customers are impressed when they first enter our locations.

Responsibilities

• Installs seat, steering wheel, floor protection, and key tags in all vehicles taken in for service.
• Ensures that all vehicle keys are returned to the appropriate location; ensures that all vehicles in the lot(s) are locked, with the windows rolled up, and keys securely stored.
• Follows all company policies and procedures. Informs the supervisor of any illegal activity
• Consistently remains engaged with management, team leads, fellow team members, and processes to foster successful working relationships with all internal and external Clients; consistently maintains follow-up systems that encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to Client satisfaction.
• Immediately communicates with management whenever a concern or situation arises.

Requirements

• Must have held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three (3) years.
