Job summary
Berglund Automotive in Virginia seeks an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, drive performance, and elevate the customer experience. You will build a strong team, coach advisors and technicians, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Work closely with Parts and Sales to ensure a seamless dealership experience, comply with policies, and deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as Automotive Service Manager.
- Leadership of service teams and coaching.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with DMS and service software.
Responsibilities
- Lead all daily operations of the service department to drive performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate service advisors, technicians, and support staff to achieve their full potential.
- Foster a customer-first culture that delivers exceptional service and creates lasting customer relationships.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, repair quality, and department performance to ensure efficient operations and timely vehicle delivery.
- Work closely with the Parts and Sales teams to create a seamless dealership experience for every customer.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, manufacturer requirements, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Promote a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement.
