VIP Automotive Group of Long Island is seeking a full-time Automotive Service Cashier in Garden City. The role handles daily cash transactions with customers, reconciles bills, and maintains repair orders and invoices.

The position requires strong cash handling and customer service skills, along with the ability to coordinate with service and parts teams. Training and growth opportunities are provided within the group.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and processing payments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to reconcile customer invoices.

Responsabilités

• Reconciles customer bills.
• Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
• Makes change and issues receipts to customers.
• Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
• Maintains and files repair orders, parts invoices, rental forms; lists missing documents.
• Closes all open invoices.
• Assists service and parts department with telephone coverage.
• Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to parts and service departments.
• Keeps abreast of new products and services offered, their features and price changes.
• Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
