Job description

Auto Dealership looking for full-time Service Cashier. Must have attention to detail and be able to multi-task.

Previous Service Cashier experience is a plus (but not required). Medical benefits and 401K provided.

To keep our cashiers safe, we have plastic barriers in place and provide hand sanitizer, masks, and gloves.

Job-Specific Expectations

1. Assist with annual physical inventory count.
2. Upon request, assist in examining and updating physical and electronic inventory control systems.
3. Perform daily and weekly physical cycle counts.
4. Monitor accuracy levels as directed by the inventory control manager.
5. Maintain current and precise inventory records.
6. Establish and implement inventory control procedures for all departments.
7. Work with the inventory control manager to resolve inventory issues.
8. In conjunction with the inventory control manager, work to maintain sufficient stock volume on hand to meet demand and maintain appropriate inventory turn ratios.
9. Examine inventory valuation, reports on slow mover and non-mover items as well as monthly sales to support the projection of inventory needs and to adequately meet demands while maintaining good inventory turn ratios.
10. In collaboration with department managers throughout the dealership, explore strategies for eliminating slow-moving and non-moving merchandise.
11. Collaborate with department managers in sales, service, parts, and accessories to develop inventory expectations and meet purchasing needs.
12. Considering organizational philosophy and inventory cycles, help provide for sufficient inventory of products and materials.
13. Assist the inventory manager in balancing the inventory between carrying costs and service, sales, and parts and accessories demands.
