Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data.
• Greets customers and obtains vehicle information.
• Writes up vehicle problems accurately.
• Test drives vehicles to confirm problems.
• Advises customers on car maintenance.
• Provides written cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Notifies dispatcher of incoming work.
• Contacts customers regarding changes in estimates or promised time.
• Ensures vehicles are parked properly and keys are stored securely.
• Explains work done and charges to customers.
