Job summary

Legacy Chevrolet GMC in Waxahachie, TX seeks a Service Advisor to be the central contact between customers and technicians. You will listen to problems, schedule service, explain repairs, and manage expectations for quality workmanship and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 4-5 years of dealership experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and customer service skills. ASE certification is a plus; bilingual is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary automotive training or equivalent experience preferred.
• 4-5 years' auto dealership experience required.
• Unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record.
• GM experience is a plus; broad automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and deliver world-class service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an Excellent CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and assist customers with service needs.
• Schedule service in person or by phone to ensure prompt, accurate diagnosis.
• Present repair recommendations and manage delivery by setting expectations.
• Ensure all documentation complies with regulations and standards.
• Educate/train new staff and participate in ongoing product knowledge updates.
• Follow company policies and exhibit professional appearance and behavior.
