Job summary

indiGO Auto Group's Audi Rancho Mirage dealership is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to join a state-of-the-art facility in Rancho Mirage, CA. The role offers a fast-paced environment with ample opportunities for advancement and a strong focus on customer care and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a service advisor role, a proven CSI and sales history, and excellent verbal and math skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a service advisor role preferred.
• CSI and sales history preferred, ideally with a luxury dealership.
• Excellent verbal and math skills; these may be tested.
• Must be able to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and record concerns to generate a work order.
• Track status of open repair orders and update customers and dispatchers.
• Learn warranty coverage for each franchise.
• Make appointments for maintenance items and contact customers for follow-ups.
• Notify customers when parts arrive and schedule service.
• Close tickets and inform customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Explain repair order charges and escalate customer service issues to the service manager.
• Strive to meet metrics for sales per repair order, gross profit, and customer satisfaction.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:

• Greet customers and carefully record the customer’s concerns to generate an accurate work order.
• Track the status of open repair orders during the day keeping both the customers and dispatcher updated with approvals and delays.
• Obtain the training necessary to know what is covered under warranty for each franchise.
• Perform regular and scheduled contacts with previous customers and make appointments for maintenance items.
• Make sure all customers have been notified when ordered parts arrive and schedule an appointment to have the work done.
• Close tickets and notify customers when their vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Explain repair order charges to customers and promptly notify the service manager of any customer service problems.
• Strive to meet management’s metrics for sales per repair order, total gross profit, repair orders per day, and customer satisfaction scores.

The opportunity is for you if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a service advisor role strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of CSI and sales history, preferably with a luxury dealership
• Excellent verbal and math skills. These skills may be tested and evaluated.
• Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.

Pay Range for this role is: $65,000 - $250,000 per year

Employee will be compensated through a combination of hourly pay and commissions/ bonuses, which will vary based on productivity.
