At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in areas such as inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

We are seeking an automotive service advisor to manage and direct all service department activities of a retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. This position is a developmental role, with a focus on training and internal promotion within Midas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by listening and consulting with customers.
• Follow up with customers regarding services requested, estimated completion times, etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections, make comprehensive recommendations, build computerized repair orders, and source parts.
• Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials.
• Lead, manage, and train the team while aligning with the company's vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed.
• Supervise up to ten employees.
• Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing, and repairing domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucks.
• Maintain inventory counts.
• Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of service advisor experience.
• General automotive knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Leadership ability and team-building skills.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule (5 days, Sundays off).
• Valid driver's license.

Compensation: $52,000 - $75,000 per year.
