Job summary

Honda of Greeley is seeking a Service Advisor to join our fast-paced service team. The role involves inspecting vehicles, preparing estimates, and scheduling repairs across metal, plastic, and fiberglass components.

The position requires attention to detail and strong communication with customers and the Parts Department. Experience is preferred, references required, and the workweek includes Saturdays on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience in auto service and repair.
• Must pass background check and pass a drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a busy shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspects vehicle to determine service needs.
• Plans the repair work and estimates labor and parts costs for customers.
• Communicate with Parts Department to order parts and materials.
• Creates internal repair orders for PDI’s, Used Inventory, and vehicle details.
• Ensures all work is completed correctly by inspecting vehicles.
• Communicates with customers about repairs and timelines.
• Creates repair orders for completed work.
• Ensures payments are completed at checkout.
• Keeps training up to date with company and manufacturer requirements.
• Performs other related duties as needed.

Full-Time position: 5 days a week, Saturdays rotating.

Service hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:30am- 6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm

Compensation: $48,000 - $85,000

Our facility is extremely fast-paced and attention to detail is imperative!

Job Summary:

The Service Advisor will inspect automobiles for damage, prepare estimates, and schedule repairs to metal, plastic, and fiberglass parts of automobiles.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspects vehicle to determine service needs.
• Plans the repair work that is necessary; estimates cost of labor and parts for customers.
• Communicate directly with the Parts Department to order parts and materials needed for services.
• Creates internal repair orders for: PDI’s, Used Inventory, and vehicle details.
• Ensures all work has been executed correctly by inspecting vehicles.
• Communicates with customers.
• Creates repair orders for completed work.
• Ensures payments are completed upon check out.
• Must stay up to date on all company and manufacturer required trainings throughout employment with the company.
• Performs other related duties as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of auto service and repair techniques and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.
• Must have a current driver's license & be insurable with our Company.
• Must pass a background check and pass a drug screening.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in auto service and repair.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
• Must be able to inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
• Good vision to inspect repair work.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
