Job summary

Ken Garff Volkswagen of Gilbert, part of the Ken Garff Automotive Group, is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and drive maintenance sales. You will greet customers, gather and relay vehicle concerns, and provide timely updates and estimates.

Proficiency with a DMS and strong interpersonal skills are preferred. You’ll work with a collaborative team that values integrity, growth, and teamwork, with competitive compensation and benefits including 401(k) matching and

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service advisory or similar role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to upsell services and explain maintenance options.
• Familiarity with Dealer Management System (DMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally.
• Listen to inquiries, identify service needs, resolve concerns, and upsell services when appropriate.
• Provide customers with updates, estimates, and inspection results promptly.
• Answer customer calls promptly and courteously.
• Review completed work, present recommendations, and collect payments.
• Navigate DMS and other software to look up service history and schedule repairs.
• Ensure top service quality and review customer satisfaction surveys.

What you’ll do as a Service Advisor:

• Greet all customers promptly and professionally
• Provide excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests, asking questions to identify service needs, resolving concerns, and sell additional services when appropriate
• Provide customers with updates, estimates, and inspection results in a timely manner
• Answer customer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller’s inquiry
• Review all completed work and recommendations and collect payments from customer
• Proficient knowledge in Dealer Management System (DMS) and any other essential software programs to look up customer’s service history, schedule appointments, enter repair order information, and manage information
• Provide excellent service and review the customer satisfaction survey to each customer
