Job summary

Martin Tire is hiring a Sales and Service Advisor in El Paso, TX. The role focuses on selling and promoting automotive services while upholding store standards. Compensation ranges from $40K to $60K based on experience.

Greet customers, document concerns, quote accurately, and keep customers informed. Experience is helpful but not required; valid driver's license and ability to work Mon–Sat are expected.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect the vehicle and reference service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations from the technician to help customers decide; document all recommendations.
• Promote the sale of services, parts, and accessories by showing understanding of product and service requirements.
• Provide the customer with an accurate quote including cost and time, and give updates on service status throughout the day.
• Follow procedures when cashing out the ticket, review the multi-point inspection, and explain warranties.

Martin Tire operates multiple locations across El Paso, Tx and New Mexico and is expanding! We offer complete quality automotive repair and preventative maintenance. Our ASE certified technicians will be happy to help you on a wide range of services including alignments, brake repair, oil changes, batteries, shocks and struts, belts and hoses, and air conditioning.

The Sales and Service Advisor is responsible for selling and promoting all products and services offered by Martin Tires by following the company's store standards and expectations.

COMPENSATION : $40K - $60K depending on experience

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Promptly greet customers in a professional and courteous manner both in person and on the telephone using the Company's standardized customer service techniques.
• Listen to and thoroughly document customer’s concerns; inspect vehicle and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customer’s service needs.
• Recommend services according to appropriate level of knowledge. Clearly communicate any additional recommendations from the Automotive Technician to the customer so that they can make an informed decision. Properly document all recommendations in customer file.
• Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating an understanding of the product and associated service requirements.
• Provide customer with an accurate quote that includes cost and time of completion for the services approved by the customer. Provide customer with updates throughout the day on the status of their services.
• Follow proper procedures when cashing out a customer’s ticket to include a review of the completed multi-point inspection and explanation of applicable warranties.
• Conduct post repair and declined services follow up phone calls to ensure customer satisfaction for all individual customers.
• Track all new returns, core returns and warranty parts for individual customers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment
• Possess a current and valid driver's license
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday
