Job Description

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our dealership team. The Service Advisor acts as a liaison between customers and our service technicians, helping to identify vehicle issues, recommend maintenance or repair services, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Job Type & Schedule

  • Job Type: Full-Time

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (with some Saturday work)

Work Requirements:

  • Ability to Commute: Morganton, NC (Required)

  • Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and gather vehicle information to determine service needs

  • Clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance to customers

  • Create accurate and detailed repair orders and cost estimates

  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service completion

  • Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process

  • Schedule service appointments and manage shop workflow

  • Handle warranty and service contract documentation accurately

  • Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Previous service advisor or automotive customer service experience required

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic automotive knowledge required

  • Proficiency in Reynolds and Reynolds

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
