Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Design Release Engineer specializing in seat complete engineering to lead design, development and release of seating systems. You will ensure performance, cost and timing objectives and interface with interior cockpit, trim, and electrical components.

The role emphasizes JIT ownership, supplier collaboration and program delivery, with CN/PLM change control, DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in automotive seating design, development and launch.
• Experience with injection molding, tooling and material properties.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and validation processes.
• Proficiency in Teamcenter/NX and supplier management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and release of seating components and assemblies for final seat.
• Guide design and development according to Stellantis practices.
• Ensure seat systems integrate within the vehicle and manage CN/PLM changes.
• Collaborate with suppliers on feasibility, quality initiatives and validation.
• Track program timing, cost and quality targets and support launches.
