Job summary

Performance Seats is seeking an Industrial Sewer to sew fabric, leather and foam for seat covers and service orders in a fast-paced production area.

The successful candidate will assist with material flow through embroidery and sewing operations, perform routine machine maintenance, and inspect finished products for quality and craftsmanship. Overtime and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a cut and sew environment, preferably industrial sewing.
• Knowledge of materials, patterns, and sewing processes.

Responsibilities

• Sew fabric, leather and foam to complete seat and service orders.
• Support flow of material through embroidery and sewing operations.
• Sew components to form seat covers and service orders as specified.
• Perform maintenance on sewing machines and inspect product quality.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and housekeeping in the production area.
