Performance Seats is a global leader in performance and comfort automotive seating. The Industrial Sewer is responsible for sewing fabric, leather, and foam materials to produce seat covers and fulfill service orders, ensuring alignment with detailed specifications and quality standards.

This role supports the sewing and embroidery workflow, performs equipment maintenance, and contributes to continuous improvement and safety initiatives across the production area.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience in cut and sew environment.
• Knowledge of materials, patterns, and sewing.

Responsibilities

• Sew fabric, leather and foam to complete seat and service orders.
• Assist with flow of material through embroidery and sewing operations.
• Sew material to fill service department orders.
• Assemble seat cover sets or service orders as specified on traveler.
• Perform maintenance on sewing machines.
• Inspect for quality and craftsmanship.
• Suggest improvements to sewing operation and order flow.
• Keep workspace and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE.
• Support quality systems and report nonconformities.
• Implement process improvements.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
