Job summary

Adient is seeking a Seat Assembly Operator for the West Point facility. The role involves complete assembly of automotive seating units, rotating through line stations, and maintaining safety, quality and efficiency standards.

You will inspect work, restock areas, and support production to minimize scrap and delays. The position is on 2nd shift, 8:30 PM to Sunday through Thursday, with a $2.00 night differential (effective $21.60/hour total).

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret operator instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Complete assembly of automotive seating units while maintaining quality, safety and efficiency.
• Perform line assembly and support operations to mass produce seating units per specs.
• Rotate through workstations and develop proficiency across production functions.
• Inspect and ensure quality of work in progress; report shortages or issues.
