Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Big O Sales Consultant to deliver fast, friendly customer service and promote products and services. You will handle transactions, maintain displays, and support daily store operations in Raytown, MO.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, and a willingness to learn. Availability for weekends and holidays is expected, with adherence to PPE and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Strong verbal communication skills

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages and making change
• Validity to work in the United States
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
• Legal authorization to work in the United States of America

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and host waiting customers, providing fast and friendly customer service
• Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per company policy
• Inspect vehicles and review maintenance requirements to promote products and services
• Promote sales through explaining benefits, promotions, and suggestive selling
• Prepare sales documentation such as warranties and service agreements
• Conduct efficient and accurate sales transactions and report discrepancies
• Manage ticket average and profitability, assist store manager in meeting expectations
• Support store operations with opening/closing tasks, inventory, sales reporting, and merchandising
• Protect assets by cleaning, maintaining, and storing tools and equipment
• Check-in vendors, receive merchandise, and stock shelves
• Keep facilities clean and in line with company standards
• Safely operate customer vehicles within service areas
• Assist in training new employees
• Complete required training on time
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
