Job summary

Crown Automotive Group in Saint Petersburg, FL, seeks motivated Sales Consultants to join our award-winning team. We train you, offer a best-pay plan with draws, and provide extensive benefits.

Work across multiple brands in Pinellas County with opportunities for growth and a supportive, employee-centric culture. Greet customers, demo vehicles, handle leads, close deals, and deliver vehicles while explaining features and warranties.

Qualifications

• Minimum SIX (6) months customer-facing retail sales or customer service experience; training provided.
• Ability to work with diverse customers and close sales.
• Familiarity with automotive products a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and match their vehicle needs with current inventory.
• Accompany customers on test drives and explain features.
• Build a referral-based customer network.
• Stay updated on products, features, and benefits.
• Work internet, phone, and in-person leads to convert to sales.
• Report to Sales Manager with objectives and ideas.
• Close deals and complete paperwork.
• Prepare sold vehicles for delivery and explain operation and warranty.
• Introduce customers to service department and CSI targets.

Responsibilities – Sales Consultant:

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and listen to their requirements in order to match their vehicle needs with one in current inventory.
• Accompany customer on test drives and demonstrate vehicle features and technology, describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network
• Keep current on new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
• Work the internet, phone and personal leads to convert them into auto sales.
• Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and creative ideas and introduce him to the customer
• Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up system.
• Close the deal and complete all paperwork
• Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival then delivers vehicle to customer, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
• Maintain a prospect development system and CSI score equal to corporate requirements.

Qualifications – Sales Consultant:

• Minimum SIX (6) months customer-facing retail sales or customer service experience is important, but not mandatory.WeWILLtrain the right candidates for the exciting field of auto sales!
• Outside sales experience is appreciated, but not required
• Experience with customers of all income levels
• Attend product and sales training courses as requested by Sales Manager.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Honesty, Integrity, Commitment, Perseverance and the will to succeed!
• Must know and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales
• Basic computer proficiency
• Professional appearance
• Valid driver’s license of at least three years and clean driving record, no major infractions, at least three years
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
• Applicantsmust pass pre-employment background checks including motor vehicle record, and drug screen
