Qualifications

• Six months of customer-facing retail sales or customer service experience.
• Outside sales experience is appreciated but not required.
• Experience with customers of all income levels.
• Attend product and sales training courses as requested by Sales Manager.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Honesty, integrity, commitment, perseverance and the will to succeed.
• Knowledge of applicable retail automobile sales laws.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Professional appearance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record for at least three years.
• Authorized to work in the USA and pass background checks including MVR and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen to requirements to match vehicles.
• Accompany customers on test drives and demonstrate features.
• Build rapport to establish referrals and customer network.
• Stay current on products, features, and benefits.
• Overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
• Work leads to convert to auto sales and report to Sales Manager.
• Use dealership sales control and follow-up systems.
• Close deals and complete paperwork.
• Prepare sold vehicles for delivery and brief customers on operations.
• Introduce customers to service department and emphasize aftercare.
• Maintain a prospect development system and CSI targets.
