Job summary

Glockner-Chevrolet in Portsmouth, OH is seeking an Automotive Sales Rep to greet customers, explain vehicle features, and drive sales end-to-end. You will conduct test drives, manage the CRM, and negotiate to close deals while keeping customers satisfied.

Strong commission opportunities complement base pay, with bonuses and benefits. Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to work full-time including Saturdays at Glockner’s dealership network.

Qualifications

• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Good in-person and phone communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No prior car sales required; sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive at the dealership.
• Create a professional environment that builds rapport and puts customers at ease.
• Answer customer questions about new and used cars, vehicle specifications, and the loan application process.
• Use CRM software to maintain a customer database you will use to drive automotive sales.
• Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle features.
• Use strong negotiation skills to complete the sales process while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
