Inside Car Guys in Thousand Oaks is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant who thrives on customer service and closing deals. No automotive experience is required; we provide training and mentorship to help you grow your income and skills.

You will greet guests, identify needs, present vehicles, conduct test drives, manage leads in CRM, and work with management and finance to finalize transactions while aiming to exceed monthly targets.

Qualifications

• No experience required - we will train the right candidate.
• Sales experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism and personal accountability.
• Competitive mindset with a strong work ethic.
• Coachable and eager to learn from experienced industry leaders.
• Ability to work a full-time retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and consultative manner.
• Build rapport and identify customer needs to recommend appropriate vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Manage leads, follow-ups, and appointments through CRM systems.
• Negotiate and close deals while maintaining gross profit objectives.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers before, during, and after the sale.
• Work closely with management and finance to ensure smooth transactions.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory, market trends, and competitor pricing.
