Job summary

Sheehy Auto Mall of Hagerstown is seeking an experienced New Vehicle Sales Manager to lead the sales team, desks deals, and drive customer satisfaction. You will manage new-vehicle sales processes, hit sales goals, and mentor staff to sustain high performance with an emphasis on service excellence.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years of automotive sales management, proven leadership, and outstanding communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of automotive sales management experience.
• Proven success in auto retail sales.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High energy, enthusiastic, with teamwork mindset.
• Authorized to work in the USA and able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Desk and present deals, submit to lenders for approval, and close efficiently.
• Develop relationships with customers to improve satisfaction and drive sales.
• Coach and train sales staff to achieve targets and best practices.
• Lead regular sales training and set clear performance goals.
• Oversee negotiations and inventory planning with management.

Sheehy Auto Mall of Hagerstown seeks an experienced New Vehicle Sales Manager to join our high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be honest, self-driven, and results-oriented, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on the highest customer service standards. The New Vehicle Sales Manager will manage new-vehicle sales processes, achieve vehicle sales goals and profit objectives, and lead the sales team to create lifetime customers through each interaction.

Responsibilities

• Accurately desks deals, submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals
• Work directly with customers to develop enriching relationships that improve client happiness and fuel the sales process
• Establish trust among customers to establish a strong network of clientele and prospects
• Provide training and support to sales staff and assist in closing deals
• Facilitate regular sales training for continued team growth
• Demonstrate leadership by setting a clear vision and goals for the sales-targeted performance
• Engage and motivate the team to achieve critical goals, performance expectations, and standard methodology processes
• Drive business through a high level of involvement in day-to-day operations
• Lead the negotiation process, ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
• Partner with the General Manager to plan and run vehicle inventory
• Assist in running controllable expense elements for the New Vehicle Departments
• Analyze business metrics to resolve shortfalls and implement action plans to elevate performance

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of Automotive Sales Management experience
• Shown success in auto retail sales
• Confirmed leadership ability to mentor and train others
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Passionate about training sales team members and operating within a reciprocal environment
• Enthusiastic personality with a high-energy attitude
• Ability to boost morale during the sales workday and improve profitability
• Organization and follow-up skills
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to pass pre-employment background search, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test
• Must have a valid driver's license
