Napleton Buick GMC in Crystal Lake is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to help customers find the right vehicle and guide them from first hello to handing over the keys.

You'll work leads, greet walk-ins, demonstrate vehicles, present numbers, and follow up with people who aren't ready yet. You don't need prior car selling experience; rely on trust, follow-through, and a strong work ethic to succeed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to talk to strangers.
• Self-motivation; ability to work without supervision.
• Reliable with a professional appearance.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Availability to work a retail schedule including Saturdays.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify walk-in traffic; determine actual needs before showing vehicles.
• Respond to internet leads and phone inquiries quickly; speed matters.
• Conduct product demonstrations and test drives.
• Present pricing, payment options, and trade-in values clearly.
• Ask for the sale, handle objections, and close.
• Log every interaction in the CRM; follow up with unsold prospects and past customers.
