A family-owned automotive dealership is seeking a self-motivated Sales Consultant to join their team. The role involves assisting customers in vehicle selection, performing professional presentations of cars, and building strong customer rapport. Ideal candidates should have strong customer service and communication skills, along with a valid driver's license. The position offers hourly wages with commission, paid training, vacation, a 401k plan, health insurance and more.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday.
• Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections and negotiating pricing.
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Approach and greet customers entering the dealership.
• Assist customers in selecting vehicles based on their needs.
• Explain product performance and benefits to prospects.
• Build strong rapport with customers for repeat business.
• Perform knowledgeable presentations of vehicles.
• Present and demonstrate new/used vehicles professionally.
• Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and follow company protocols.
• Report to the Sales Manager on objectives and activities.

Responsibilities

• Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
• Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Build strong rapport with customers. Strive for repeat business.
• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentations and demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company protocols and standards.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis.
